Alexander Dennis Coble died unexpectedly on September 17, 2023. He was born in Sedro Woolley, Washington, on the 15th of July, 1973, to proud parents Dennis and Carolyn Coble.

He was raised on Samish Island and graduated from Burlington-Edison High School in 1991. During his time in high school, he enjoyed many activities, such as band, track and field, and he was the captain of his tennis team. He received scholarships and went on to attend the University of Washington. Alex was a proud member of the Delta Chi fraternity. Eventually, he found his forever career working as an operator at Chemtrade in Anacortes, Washington. Alex was employed by the company from 2000 to present. He loved his job and all of his co-workers.

Alex is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Samantha; daughters: Quinn and Carolina; brother Brent, father and mother; his dog Porter Buddy; his extended family; as well as close friends that were like brothers: Clayton Franklin, Colonel Betz, Chris Fleury and Jeff Hudson.

Alex was a great entertainer and loved to regale anyone who would listen with his belly-laughing stories and stellar karaoke performances.

Alex loved his family and friends fiercely and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His Daughters were his greatest pride and joy. He also loved being outside in any capacity, from boating, fishing, and crabbing to hunting with his buddies in Montana. He even let his wife drag him out for an occasional hike.

To say Alex will be missed is an understatement. He was larger than life.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Alexander "Legend" Coble at Bertelsen's Winery (Mount Vernon) on Sunday 1st of October, 2023, from 1-4 p.m.
