Andrea Gray was born on July 21, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, the beloved daughter of Thomas and Barbara (Davis) Gray. The family moved to Southern California, when Andrea was a year old. She attended the Rancho Alamitos High School and was the Valedictorian of her graduating class; she then attended Long Beach City College.

Andrea enrolled in a nursing program in Saddleback College, Mission Viejo, CA.  While working at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, she was chosen as the surgical intensive care RN to attend to President Nixon during his recovery from vascular surgery. Andrea  received her bachelor's degree from Redlands University while she worked at Long Beach Memorial.

She would eventually find the love of her life, Robert Gauthier, who by the way had four children. Combined with two beautiful daughters of hers, the couple married and became a blended family of eight. Today the family consists of 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren with two more soon to arrive. Retirement came early to the Northwest. God bless the beautiful one. XOXO.
