Our beloved Brother Andrew passed away from this life to eternal rest and peace on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Andrew, also known as Andy, Drew, Vince, Uncle Moo, No. 8, Son, Brother and Uncle was born the 8th child of George and Gretchen Waham on December 16, 1967 in Seattle, WA.

He attended Holy Family Parish School, Lake Washington High School and earned an Associate's degree for his work as an EMT.  Andrew enjoyed playing team sports with his brothers, especially his brother Paul, through Lake Washington Youth Soccer and Kirkland American Little League. He became increasingly interested in playing and making music, especially drumming, which became a lifelong passion.

Andrew will be remembered as a sweet, sensitive, and beautiful person. As a child he was the caregiver and keeper of the family pets. He was playful, quiet, introspective, and a keen observer.

As an adult, in spite of his challenges with mental illness and addiction, he worked a number of professions including an EMT, ER Technician, model, restauranteur, painter and a lover of humanity. Andrew was a self-declared outdoorsman and embraced that lifestyle with resourcefulness, dignity, respect and empathy for others.

Andrew loved to create music and art and had a gift for working with his hands. He saw people and his surroundings in his own way.  He was interested in the world and showed that through his reading, interests in astronomy, birdwatching, medicine, religion, but most important to him was his family.

Andrew loved his family more than anything. He was especially interested in his nieces and nephews and when he could attend, he loved the big family and friend gatherings.

Andrew kept his faith close to him. He was an advocate of the environment, the homeless,  plants and animals, and science, volunteering to feed the homeless, and engaging with all types of people, never judging.

Andrew was kind and gentle. Always offering a smile, hug, handshake and a joke.  All who know him will remember him as a handsome, gentle, funny, engaging, colorful, resourceful, faithful, and witty nature loving man.

Andrew is survived by his siblings Bill (Gail), Dan, Gigi, Joe (Darannie), Paul (Mindy), Nicole (Dennis), Jamie (Nikki), and Dominic Waham; 21 nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews.

Andrew has now happily joined his beloved Mom (Nana) and Dad (Da), his big Brothers Mark and Greg, and his best friend and cousin, Tony Castle.
