It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Bonnie, who left us on February 2, 2025. Bonnie was born on October 26, 1928 in Anacortes, and was the beloved child of Marvin and Carolyn Cross. She was married to Stan Jewell from 1948 to 1955 and Monte Riley from 1957 until his death in 2019. She had been in a loving relationship with Tom Kilpatrick for the last two plus years.

Bonnie was a person of great spirit and compassion, touching the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. She was a devoted mother, spouse, friend, and a cherished member of the community.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Curt (Teri) Jewell, Denise Summers, Rip (Demelza) Riley, and Erin (Andy) Jorgensen, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and eighteen great—grandchildren who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Monte Riley.

Throughout her life, Bonnie's passion for her family, work, and philanthropy was evident. She excelled as the office manager for the OCAW Local1-591 for 19 years and she dedicated countless hours of service as a Lifetime Member of Soroptimist International of Anacortes.

We will miss Mom's warmth, love, and unwavering support. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, Mom. You will be forever remembered and loved.
