Bradley Griffith Plumb, 67, of Anacortes, Washington, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 29, 2024. Brad was born in Denver, Colorado on May 15, 1957, the son of Charlie and Marian (Crowder) Plumb. He graduated from Denver's East High School, starting as a sales professional with Time-Life, and later turned his passion and skills in carpentry and woodworking into a longtime occupation in construction and remodeling. Following a brief marriage to Laura Frantom, Brad relocated to the Pacific Northwest, settling first in Friday Harbor and later in Anacortes.

After the death of his mother, Brad's father, Charlie, married Jean Taylor and brought another family unit into the fold. Together, the Plumb-Taylor clan grew into a closely blended family.

Always ready with a joke, Brad was able to recall a witty story to fit any situation or topic and was quick to bring a smile and a laugh to his many friends and acquaintances. And no one laughed louder at his own jokes than Brad. Known for his big heart, Brad will also be remembered for his quick response when anyone in need required a helping hand. In fact, during the last years of his life, Brad acted as a friend and live-in care-giver to two older, disabled gentlemen. On a more somber note, Brad was a long-time member of Alcoholics Anonymous and had recently completed 15 years of sobriety.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Wendy (Plumb) Royce. He is survived by his sister Holly Owen (John) of Littleton, CO; his step-brothers and sisters Jayna Ashcraft (Craig) of Rough and Ready, CA; Karen Ohno (Yoshio) of Mercer Island, WA; Mitch Taylor (Debra) of Friday Harbor, WA; his other brother Brad Taylor (Bonnie) of Port Townsend, WA; and six nieces and nephews.
