Bruce I. Tenney, 75, passed away peacefully in the morning of September 27, 2021, at Providence St Peter Hospital in Olympia.

Bruce was born July 18, 1946, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Robert I. and Marianna L. Tenney. He grew up mostly in Olympia, WA eventually graduating from St. Martin's College. As an adult Bruce felt a strong calling to the Catholic Church and was involved with many volunteer activities both for the Church and in the community over the years. He will be especially remembered for his work with People First and all his help to the disabled people in the Olympia area.

Bruce is survived by his sister, Robin (Charlie Barefield),  their children: Anna and Christopher and several cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 on Monday, October 11 ^th at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Olympia, followed by interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Due to Covid there will be no reception at the church.
