Danny C. Engan was born on August 5, 1960, in Harmony, MN to Janice M. Eggen and Maynard P. Engan. He passed away peacefully at home after his two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer on February 1, 2023.

Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Caren on April 2, 1999. His mother, Janice on June 19 ^th, 2006. He is survived by his father, Maynard; six children: Alisha Engan-Wiler of Princeton, WV. and her 9 children, Eddie Follis of Marysville, WA.  wife and one child. Jamie Penton of Mount Vernon, WA. her significant other and five children. Thomas Penton Sedro-Woolley, WA. wife and four children. Daniel Engan of Oak Harbor, WA wife and 4 children. Chrystal Engan of Anacortes, WA. her significant other and 3 children. His Chihuahua, Charlie; his three siblings: Douglas Paul Engan, Patricia Lynn Follis, and Pamela Renee Shepard.

Danny's favorite hobby was to work on cars, he worked on any and every vehicle up until he couldn't work on them anymore. He was the most caring, giving, selfless man you will ever meet. If someone needed the shirt off his back, he would take it off and hand it to them in a heartbeat. If you needed help: any time of day, day, or night he would be there to help. He really loved his dog, Charlie; he was his best friend. Charlie tagged along with him everywhere he went. Danny had many different amazing qualities about him, but the best was the advice he would give others and if he had no advice to give, he was a great listener who was never judge-mental. He REALLY loved music; Danny listened to a little bit of everything. He would blast music and then sing along to it like no one was listening. I'd like to say a special Thank You to Raynette for being there for our dad and an loving him. He will truly be missed! Fly High, Dad. Until we Meet again. We Love You.
