Doug's livelihood was that of a Master Painter. He enjoyed making homes beautiful inside and out and loved working with his daughter Tina at True Colours Painting for several years before he retired.
Doug loved spending time in the mountains, hunting, fishing, four wheeling in his Jeep, camping, and just enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds of nature.
In his most recent years he enjoyed spending time at the Anacortes Senior Center playing pool and Pinochle with friends and fishing the local lakes.
His last days on this earth, he enjoyed giving treats to the little dogs at the Lighthouse RV Park and visiting with their owners.
