Felisa Lynd Hoglund, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away at the age of 55 on December 15, 2023. She was born on August 25, 1968, in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of David and Linda (Cooley) Hamiter.

Raised in Anacortes, Felisa graduated from AHS in 1986. She then moved to Bellingham to attend WWU, where she met the love of her life, college sweetheart Steve Hoglund and later married him in 1992. In 2001, Felisa and her husband returned to Anacortes with their three children, and they welcomed their fourth child in 2002.

Felisa dedicated her life to her family, and her most cherished role was that of a stay-at-home mom. She wholeheartedly embraced this role by homeschooling her four children throughout their high school years. Her dedication and love for her children led each of them to start college through the running start program at SVCC.

Aside from her devotion to her family, Felisa had a passion for thrifting and reselling. She opened her eBay account in 2000, and for over 20 years, she pursued this hobby. Thrifting allowed her to build her inventory, which she would then resell to make room for new treasures. This flexible job allowed her to continue being available for her children, even after they had grown.

Despite her busy life, Felisa was available for her loved ones. When her eldest child moved to Kentucky with her first grandchild, Felisa made several trips a year to visit. When her second grandchild arrived, she happily spent six weeks in Kentucky, offering her support and assistance.

Felisa was also an enthusiastic crafter, known for her graham cracker gingerbread-building events at family Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. She would gather the materials, including candies from the dollar store, and meticulously glue together the graham crackers into charming gingerbread houses.

Felisa's life was filled with love, dedication, and creativity. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.  Felisa leaves behind her loving husband of 31 years, Steve Hoglund, her children Cameron, Madilyn, Gunnar, and Gaard, as well as her son-in-law Antonio. She also leaves behind her two adored granddaughters, Magnus and Jude, who brought immense joy to her life.
