Gary William Cameron aged 84 years old passed away at home on January 14th 2025 after a short battle with cancer.  Gary was preceeded in death by his beloved wife Sue Ellen (Bransdorf).  Gary was a long time resident of Skagit County, WA.

Gary was born at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on January 5, 1941 to William Charles Cameron and Mae (Griffith).  He was raised in Vernon BC.  Gary attended Kalamaikian High School, class of 1960.  During his life from childhood all the way till the early 2010s he spent most summers at the family cabin on Mable Lake outside of Enderby BC.

Gary immigrated to the USA (legally, he would want me to point out) in his early 20s.  Gary stayed in the USA for the remainder of his life.  Gary Worked several jobs, a few being a car salesman, working on boats, and a chemical cleaner for refineries.  He had a love for car racing, boats, and motorcycles. When at home, he was a busy body. Mowing the lawn, cleaning out the cars, wiping down the motorcycles, anything to stay busy.  He often had a TV set up outside so he could watch his car races.  Gary loved riding his motorcycle,  often taking everyone for rides on it.  He also went on longer week-long rides with a group of friends some of whom knew him for decades.  Gary and Sue shared a love of eagles.  They were lucky to have a pair to nest in their yard.

Gary made a difference in all the lives he touched, leaving behind family and friends that will miss him dearly.  Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye.  We know he is no longer in any pain and reunited in Heaven with Sue.  We will always love you, Dad.

Gary is survived by three daughters, Alicia (Pete Hampson) Clements,  Shela (Eric) Corkum, and Melissa Peet, and three grandchildren,  Jamie Clements,  Diane Clements,  and Sebastian Peet.
