Georgie Talley, age 83 of Kirkland died Wednesday, August 26, 2026 after a courageous battle with dementia.

Georgie Laing Talley was born September 29, 1942 in Anacortes, Washington. She was the daughter of Edward and Lillian (Anderson) Laing. She grew up in Anacortes and Port Angeles, graduating from Port Angeles High School in 1960. She attended Olympic Community College and Western Washington University.

Georgie married Terry Talley on September 25, 1965. They moved from north Seattle to Kirkland in 1971 where they raised Eric, Dennis and Sheila. From the early 1980’s to the early 2000’s she ran a ceramics business called "All Original" with her sister Nanci. She was in bowling leagues for many years, loved to spend time with friends, travel, and later worked at Curves.

Her family was her pride and joy. Georgie is survived by her husband, Terry; children, Eric, Dennis (Stacey) and Sheila; grandchildren Josh, Drew, Jake, David & Danny; great grandson Eric. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister. She will be deeply missed.
