Gregory Joseph Boehm, of Anacortes, WA passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025 surrounded by his wife and children.

Greg was born on April 8, 1955 in Richardton, North Dakota to Joseph and Willetta Boehm. He joined older sisters, LaDonna and Debbie. His sisters Delane and Michelle were born later, making Greg the middle child and the only son. In the fall of 1968, the Boehm family moved to Marion, MT where they purchased a store and gas station.  Greg enjoyed spending time working in the family business. He graduated from Flathead High School in 1974 and after graduating attended a diesel mechanic trade school in Helena, MT. Greg eventually got a job working in sales with Modern Machinery which allowed him to travel the country.  Once he left Modern Machinery he went to business college in Spokane and soon after started working for local grain growers.
In 1985, while he was working at Rosalia Grain Growers, Greg met his wife, Chris. Greg was calling around to different grain cooperatives to ask questions about a new program when he called the LaCrosse Grain Growers and Chris answered. The conversation led to them meeting at a work event and the rest, as they say, is history.  Along with Chris came her daughter, Andrea, and Greg quickly jumped into a father role. Greg asked Chris to marry him and they were married on April 12, 1986. They moved to Rockford, WA where their family grew with the arrival of their daughter Lisa in the spring of 1987 and then their son, Ethan, born in the summer of 1989. Their family was complete.

In 1994 Greg visited his sister Delane in Western Washington and saw a small for sale ad in the paper for a pizza restaurant located in Anacortes, WA. He returned home and told Chris he wanted to buy it, so they packed up their life and moved to Anacortes as they were now the new owners of Village Pizza. Greg loved owning his own business and making people smile every day. As soon as a kid entered the restaurant Greg would hand out quarters so they could play in the game room and many kids knew him as the "quarterman." To this day, those kids who are now adults still refer to Greg as the "quarterman".

When he wasn't running the restaurant, Greg spent time taking his family to as many Mariners games as possible. They spent many days and nights watching the M's play in the King Dome and at Safeco Field. Win or lose his love for the Mariners and the time spent with his family at the ballpark never faded.

He loved taking trips with his family to the Oregon Coast. Every summer he'd pack up their minivan and off they would go to make sandcastles on the beach, run from the waves as they rolled to shore, and search for the perfect sand dollar.

Greg also enjoyed coaching and sponsoring Lisa and Ethan's little league baseball teams and youth basketball teams.

After years of making pizza for the people of Anacortes, Greg and Chris sold Village Pizza and he started driving school bus for the Anacortes School District. He then started driving for FedEx and shortly after purchased his own routes and was a business owner once again.  He was a great boss and enjoyed his time delivering packages to so many different towns. He sold his routes and retired in 2019.

After retiring Greg focused on spending time with his family which had grown to include his son-in-laws, daughter-in-law, and 8 grandchildren.
Greg loved being a Grandpa. He supported his grandsons and granddaughter at every sporting event. Whether it was baseball, basketball, soccer or wrestling Grandpa/Papa Greg and Grandma Chris were there cheering from the sidelines. He loved going to the school concerts and play performances. His smile was always the biggest when he was with his grandchildren. Greg was a wonderful and devoted Husband, Father, Grandpa/Papa, Brother, Son, Uncle, Boss, and Friend to many.

Greg is survived by his wife of 38 years Chris, his daughters Andrea (Jerime) and Lisa (Brysen), his son Ethan (Alex), his grandchildren - Nox, Atlas, Morghan, Calvin, Emersyn, Ethan, Miya and great grandson Onyx. His sisters Debbie (Dennis) Englehard of Salem, OR and Michelle (Harold) Glazier of Kalispell, MT, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Willetta and his sisters LaDonna and Delane.

A celebration of life service will be held on March 1, 2025 at 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Anacortes located at 2717 J Ave.
