James William
Lindsey
Feb 4, 1953 — May 6, 2023
Anacortes
James passed away Saturday, May 6th at his residence in Anacortes, WA. He was 70 years old. James was born February 4, 1953 in Los Angeles, California to Carollei Heinz Lamoureux & Clyde William Lindsey.
He was raised in the San Fernando Valley, California; graduated from EL Camino Real High School (where he started acting and singing in choir). He received his AA Degree from Pierce College Canoga Park, CA, but soon after enlisted into the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy he started working and acting in Theater Groups in the San Fernando Valley, Brentwood, and Westwood CA. For those who knew him know that he loved to act and loved music!! He then moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where he worked in theater and as a concierge.
James came to Anacortes in 1991 when our parents Carollei & Terry Lamoureux moved here. He held many interesting jobs in his life. One of his hobbies was playing the Harmonica (and I will say he was pretty Good at it too). His philosophy was to always try to make people 'Happy, Laugh and Feel Good about Themselves'!! But Most of All (You Got It) his passion was 'Acting' and 'Music'!! James started acting in plays at the Anacortes Community Theater and in the Skagit Valley. You could say that it became his second home!!
James was a loving big brother and son. He had a great sense of humor, was a very caring, loving, giving person, very energetic and a go getter!!
James is survived by his little sister Linda & brother-in-law Larry Earwood of Anacortes and Aunt Gretchen Klasila of California.
James will be greatly missed by many!!
But not as much as by his little sister!! I Love You Jim! God Bless You!
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of James W. Lindsey to the following: ACT ( Anacortes Community Theater ) And AMP ( Anacortes Music Project ).
