On December 2nd,  Janet left us after a long, hard-fought battle with dementia to be reunited with her husband, Ron, who passed away in July 2023.

Born July 20, 1949, in Shelby, Montana, she was the daughter of Robert and Anita Petrin.  Janet grew up in Anacortes, attended SVC, and earned a degree in Business from WWU.  She was employed by Texaco Refinery in 1968 and retired in 1999.  While working at the refinery, she met her husband, Ron Rosenberger. Janet loved golfing, bowling, sailing, skiing, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ron was her primary caregiver as she battled dementia.  He did an amazing job, for which his family is grateful.  Janet spent her last three years at The Lighthouse Memory Care facility in Anacortes, but Ron continued to be the caregiver while she was there.

Janet leaves behind her siblings: Noelle (Jerry Byfield), Brad (Linda) Petrin, Jay Friske, and sister-in-law Judy Petrin.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Ron, her mother, Anita Friske, and siblings, Brenda Petrin-Abbas and Les Petrin.

Her family would like to thank The Lighthouse Memory Care staff for the loving care they provided Janet and Hospice of the Northwest for making her final days peaceful.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Please check her memorial site at Evans for updates to her upcoming service: www.evanschapel.com/obituary/janet-rosenberger.
