Janettee Kathy Hanson, 59, resident of Anacortes passed way at Island Hospital on August 6, 2021. She was born on January 1962, in Bellevue. She met the love of her life Chris Hanson at the 4th of July fireworks show in Bothell in 1982. The fiery show also created lasting sparks from their first meeting that they began dating in February of 1983 and tied the knot on August 4, 1990. Four sons and a daughter were born to them.

Janettee was a fun loving, strong, resolute, creative, beautiful and passionate woman. She always placed others before her; family being the most important factor in her life. Her unique laugh that inevitably ends with a snort, would light up the room. She gave the best hugs, always accompanied by a kiss on the cheek. Janettee was constantly giving her love to everyone, even her pet Dooter (Dachshund) delighted in it. Dooter was completely spoiled by her love that he would shadow her wherever she went. Thanksgiving and Christmas were her favorite holidays and one would find Janettee baking batches of cookies to send out to her boys. Janettee's second home was Ace Hardware where she worked. She always came home with something new.

She had special fondness for anything elephants and plants. Her favorite pastimes included watching football (Janettee was a diehard Seahawks' fan), Harry Potter series, researching on Pinterest, or singing along with her favorite artists: Garth Brooks, Shania Twain. Cher, Snoop Dog or Nelly. Fun loving Janettee did not stop there, she pursued camping, boating, fishing and looked forward to BBQs every summer. As Janettee would say:  "Love you to the moon and back."

Janettee just celebrated 38 years of being with Chris with 31 years in marriage to him. Chris and Janettee's plans to travel together did not materialize with her sudden passing. She leaves behind her loving husband Chris; sons: Nathan, CJ (Danise), Duane & Daniell (Brenna) Hanson and daughter Tracy (Jeremy Linehan); grandchildren: Austin, AudryeAhna, Kaneyn, Kyser, Erykah, Marley, Caylee, Emma, Elijah, Lakai and Braxtyn; brother: Danny Wampler; brothers-in-law: Scott (Janice) Fabens, Jim (Mary), Steve, Bryan (Michele) & Greg (Greta) Hanson, Lane Sandusky and Marvanna Rodgers.
