Jeralyn (Jeri) Strom passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord on September 27, 2023, in Anacortes, Washington. Jeri was born on August 28, 1932, in Seattle and lived 91 years before her passing.

Her loving parents, John and Judy Borseth, raised her in locations between Bellingham, Washington, and Cordova, Alaska, before settling in Seattle during her teenage years. Jeri graduated from Roosevelt High School and completed her nursing degree at the University of Washington in 1955.

In the spring of 1955, she married Dr. Eugene (Bud) Strom , a former dentist and mayor of Anacortes. They were married for over 60 years and together raised their four children. Professionally, Jeri served in many nursing positions, including Secret Harbor School, Island Hospital Oncology, Anacortes Family Medicine, and with her brother-in-law, Dr. Thomas Brooks' family medical practice.

Jeri was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Strom, in 2017. She is survived by her sister Judith Hullin, brother Jay Borseth (Mary Lynn), brother-in-law Dr. Thomas Brooks, and her four children: Teri Ramsey, Sandi Corrall (Jim), K-K Iversen (Scott), and Erik Strom, along with eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeri will always be remembered for her welcoming smile and joyful heart. She lived a life of service to many and was always thinking of others as more important than herself. She deeply loved her family, her community, and her faith.
