Johnny Lee Yandle, 74, of Anacortes, Washington, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. John was born on December 17, 1950 in Gastonia, North Carolina. In his younger years he moved to Sedro Woolley, Washington with his family.  John graduated from Sedro Woolley High school in 1969.

After graduation, John worked at Al's Auto Supply & Hawley's in Mount Vernon, WA, before moving on to Similk Golf Course, where he remained, until his retirement in 2013. Hunting and fishing were his passions and he was a long time member of The Skagit Gun Club & Ivan's Gun Club in eastern WA.  John could often be found many early morning out on Fir Island stalking his next mount or fishing the Samish River.
