Joseph Matthew Griffith, 66, of Mount Vernon, prematurely passed away at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA from complications arising from Covid 19.  He was born on an enviable date, on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1956, in Bellingham the son of George and Beverly (Waller) Griffith.

Joe graduated from Mount Vernon, High School and went on to be trained as an autobody technician.  He was self-employed for forty- six years as such and spent his free time, restoring classic cars.  Joe also enjoyed taking his Harley on long bike rides.  He lived his Catholic Faith and was a member of the St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church in Seattle.

Joe was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his brothers: Pete (Sue), Jim (Cathryn) and John (Ruthie); many nephews and nieces as well as grand and great nephews and nieces.

Memorial contributions may be made in Joe's name to St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church , 1305 S. Lander Street, Seattle, WA 98144-5038.
