Joseph Aaron Rowe, born December 6, 1947, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday, June 29, 2021, after a 9-month battle with Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. Joe was born in Richland, WA to Robert and Virginia Rowe. He attended school in Richland, graduating from Richland High School after which he attended Perry Technical Institute in Yakima, WA.  Upon successful completion of his technical certificate in electrical engineering, Joe moved to Seattle, WA.

Joe met and married Rosaleen C Rowe (deceased), in 1970, and had 3 children. He worked for King County Wastewater treatment facility, held partnership in his own electrical engineering business, and went on to be President of Technical Systems, Inc. in Lynnwood, WA. In 2000, Joe married Sharon Rowe, and began a life of adventure with much traveling, hiking, skiing, biking, bridge and gathering with friends.

During his life, Joe was an avid mountain climber, conquering mountains such as K2 and Mt. Everest. He enjoyed all things outdoors and valued the cherished friendships he made along his journey.

Joe was preceded in death by his mom, Virginia Rowe, father, Robert Rowe, brother, Denny Rowe, ex-wife, Rosaleen Rowe, and granddaughter, Lacey Sattler. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Rowe of Anacortes, WA, his daughter Deanna Sattler of Everett, WA, son Robert Rowe of Elk Grove, CA, daughter Angela Kilgore (Chris) of Seattle, WA., brother Kevin (Sandy) Rowe of Richland, WA., sister Andi (John) DeMyer of Richland, WA., and sister Ginny Duve. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, granddaughter (Sawyer), and countless friends.
