Kenneth Klimpel, 62, of Lopez Island, WA, passed away at his home on July 25, 2023.  He was born February 14, 1961, in Rockville Centre, NY, to Jane (Rodnite) and Kenneth Klimpel Sr.  He is survived by his loving wife, Whitney Parker-Klimpel of Lopez Island, WA; son, Andrew Parker-Klimpel (Lindsay) of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Morgan Cohen (Ben) of Thousand Oaks, CA; and son, Spencer Parker-Klimpel, of Pittstown, NJ.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Milo, Finn, and Parker; mother, Jane Snyder; twin brother, Kurt Klimpel; and brother, Phillip Klimpel.

Ken lived a full life, guided by his intellect, generosity, and most importantly, devotion to his family. He was a knowledgeable leader and a supportive mentor while working at Colgate Palmolive for over 20 years. He balanced his hard work with activities he enjoyed, such as cards, wine, cars, and sports. Throughout his life, he was an enthusiastic supporter of the (undeserving) New York Jets until moving to Washington where he became a Seattle Seahawks fan. Ken took great pride in caring for his home and yard. He loved cuddling on the couch with his beloved pets, both dogs and pigs alike.
