Leona, a resident of Anacortes since 1959, joined her Lord in Heaven on April 18, 2022, one month shy of her 96th birthday. Born Leona Ellen Smith in Killam, Alberta. Canada, her family moved to Edmonton early in her life and raised three more children there. Lee was active in the First Baptist Church of Anacortes and the Soroptimists. She was proud of her work at the Bank of Anacortes and moved from teller to Assistant Vice President. She had many other passions like sewing, knitting, gardening, and canning. But her real joy was time spent with her children and later her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children: son, Brian Worcester, her daughters, Susan White and Marcia Brown; grandchildren: Todd and Chad Worcester, Alison MacBeth, Andrew White and Elizabeth White; and grandchildren: Alexis, Ashton, Clara, Andrew (Drew) and Dashel.  A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes, Washington.  To share memories of Lee, please sign the online guestbook at www.evanschapel.com/obituary/lee-worcester
