Devoted Mother and Grandmother

Linda Carol, 76 years old, passed away October 7, 2026, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Bellingham, Washington, with her family by her side.

Linda was born January 21, 1948, in Deer Park, New York, to John and Lillian Hocoluk. She worked in the Anacortes School District for over 30 years, helping special-needs kids and working as a paraeducator.

Linda Carol dedicated her life to being a fantastic mother, daughter, and grandmother. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Her passion for helping kids and everyone around her was so amazing to everyone who knew her.

Linda loved singing, dancing, and her family so much. Her beautiful soul cared deeply about forgiveness and believing in God. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the love, joy, and kindness that was the essence of Linda’s being. A remarkable woman, a loving mother, a doting grandmother, and a kind soul.

Linda is survived by her four children: Heather Alday, John Holmes, Bob Holmes, and Kelly Harmon. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Madison Holmes, Morgan Hoff, Kendel Allen, Jaxson Alday, Kai Martin, and Jade Owen; and 6 great-grandchildren: Blake Owen, Vivian Owen, Solair Martin, Orion Hoff, Sawyer Hoff, and Astraea Martin.

She will be laid to rest at Fernhill Cemetery on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 1pm. A Reception will be held at Evans Funeral Chapel following the Graveside Service.
