Lisa Mindi Atterberry, 49, passed away Thursday July 29, 2021. Mindi was born to Michael and Wendy (Roose) Atterberry on February 3, 1972, and was a lifelong resident of Anacortes, WA. She was a beloved, beautiful daughter, sister, wife, stepmother and friend.
Mindi, affectionately known as Didi to many of us, had a bright and energetic personality and was known for showering those close to her with love, heartfelt generosity and many selfless gestures. Among the many family endeavors, she was involved with, she helped run the Lisa Ashley Flower Shop, participated on the maiden voyage of the FT Alaska Ocean, and was a talented designer. Mindi enjoyed splitting time between Anacortes and Indian Wells, CA with her husband Ron, traveling (among her favorite destinations were South Africa, Mexico and Europe), entertaining family and friends, and was passionate about the care and wellbeing of all animals, especially her golden retrievers, past and present.
Mindi is survived by her husband and partner of 25 years, Ron Woolworth; her stepchildren Michael, Jeffrey and Stephanie, their partners and children, to whom she was known as Grandma Didi; her parents, Mike and Wendy; her Grandma, Maxine Roose; siblings, Matt, Megan, Matt, their partners and children; a large extended family, including many close aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and her adored golden retrievers, Ace and Finn.
Her family welcomes you to celebrate Mindi's life with a gathering at the Skyline Cabana in Anacortes, WA on August 25, 2021 @ 2:00pm. Please join us to share fond memories of Mindi.
