Marian Brode Rollin, 96, of Anacortes left the earth peacefully on September 1 ^st , 2021. She was born in Edison, Washington in 1925 and grew up in Walla Walla, Washington and Santa Monica, California. Marian met her husband A. Robert Rollin in graduate school at UC Berkeley. They moved to Storrs, Connecticut where Marian found a career at U Conn as a librarian. Marian and Bob raised two daughters, Terri and Susannah. For decades living in Storrs, they enjoyed monthly "wine dinners" with friends and an annual trip across the country to visit west coast family and friends. Marian and Bob moved to Anacortes, Washington in the early 90's to spend their retirement. In Anacortes, Marian participated in the local Crones group, as well as spending many years in a local senior writers' group. Marian is survived by her daughters and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
