Marilyn Bowles, 87, of Anacortes went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 5, 1935, in Wenatchee, WA; the only daughter of Chesley and Gladys (Gage) Rogers.

She acquired an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and went on to a career in banking and became the first female Bank Manager with Bank of California and United Bank.

Marilyn led a full, balanced life, with interests wide as varied: sewing, quilting, music which included singing, playing piano, and the Ukulele with a local Anacortes group. Marilyn was a devout Christian and an active member of the United Methodist Church of Anacortes. She sang in the Choir. Volunteered with the Anacortes Kiwanis Club and was a member of The Philanthropic Educational Organization. Her favorite pastimes were RVing, boating and travelling.

Surviving Marilyn are her children: Roger, Jeffrey (wife Tami) and Kurt (wife Shawna) Meek; grandchildren: Victoria Rose, Natalie, Madeline, Joseph, Cassandra, Rachel, Cheyenne and Joshua Meek; greatgrandchildren: Chevelle and Kodiak. She was predeceased by her parents, spouses: Richard Meek, Paul Hancher and Derry Bowles; son Richard A, Meek, Jr. and grandson Justin Meek.

A Memorial Service with a Reception following will be held 1 p.m., November 5, 2022, at the United Methodist Church of Anacortes.
