MaryAnn Malchow, 81, of Edmonds, WA, passed away after a short and unexpected illness on January 9, 2024. She was born to parents Catherine (Katy) Bebich Myszkowski and Ted Myszkowski on July 10,1942 in Anacortes, Washington.

She graduated from Anacortes High School in 1960. She went on to study at Fashion Design School in Seattle. Later, she also took floral design classes. MaryAnn worked as a Florist and Wedding Designer for many years. MaryAnn met Dale Malchow in 1961. They were married on September 7, 1963, in Anacortes, WA. Together, they raised 1 child, Heather Cook.

Family was very important to MaryAnn. She loved to spend time with them. She was also a caregiver for much of her life for her mother and father, her husband, her dear friend Pat Shier, her cousin Norma Zimny, and her aunt Tillie Swope.

She loved flowers and gardens. She spent many hours designing arrangements and working in her beautiful yard. She loved the color pink and was referred to as The Princess - also the name of her floral design business. MaryAnn is survived by Her daughter Heather, grandchildren Hunter and Dakota, her aunt Tillie Swope, cousins Tonee, Bre, and Mercer, and many more. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Malchow; her parents, Catherine and Ted Myszkowski, Patrick and Peter, whom she considered brothers; Uncle Jack Swope; cousins, Phil and Steven Bertalan; and many other treasured families.

A Memorial will be held at her home and is scheduled for March 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Malchow residence in Edmonds.
