Nedra May Webster was born on August 19, 1929, in Vona, CO; the daughter of Ludwig and Lottie Steininger. She passed away on December 6, 2021, at Rosario Assisted Living, where she lived the last three years. She was 92 years of age.

Nedra married the love of her life, Bill Webster in 1948 in Stratton, CO. The couple moved to Anacortes, immediately after their marriage. Two daughters were born to them: Linda and Pam.

Nedra's entire married life was spent in Anacortes. She worked for Tom DeGoede, Whitney Fidalgo Seafoods and Stokely Van Camp. In 1977, Bill and Nedra began wintering in Needles, CA, where they fished the Colorado River, bowled and golfed on the course they lived on. Their prior 'playgrounds' were San Juan Lanes, Similk Golf Course, Skagit River & skiing and fishing in various bodies of water in the vicinity they both loved. No one worked or played as hard as Nedra. She carried a 168 average in bowling; could hit a golf ball as far as most men (2 holes-in-one) and she gave every employer, their money's worth on very physically demanding jobs. If there was a waterslide, she went down it. Her beloved husband, Bill passed in 1997. Nedra continued wintering in Needles until 2011.

She is survived by her twin sister, Frieda Dewey in Hettinger, SD; her daughters and son-in-law, Steve; four grandchildren: Jennifer Kurz, Moe Kelsey, Matt & Jeremy Sullivan; four great grandchildren: Wes & Jackie Kurz; Torin, Rian & Stacie Kelsey. They were all as dedicated to Nedra as if they were hers.
