Pam Jean Edwards, 78, departed this life on July 19, 2022 in Anacortes, WA. She was born on July 4, 1944 in Denver, CO to Frank and Virginia (Durham) Edwards. The Edwards family later moved to Pasco, WA where  Pam  graduated from Pasco Senior High School, in 1961.

Pam worked in  office administration, reception and accounts payable for Scott Richards Insurance & EDCO ,Inc, where she made many lifelong friends.   She and her good friend Patty McKinnon had a successful catering business which they enjoyed doing on the side.  In April 1983, Pam became a member of the Beta Sigma Phi, Anacortes Chapter, whose core value is Life Learning and Friendship.  In January 2000, she received their second highest honor "Order of the Rose" for her active role in providing scholarships for women to continue their education.

Pam joined the Anacortes Yacht Club in 1991 and was part owner of a Catalina 27' sailboat called Syndicat.  She rose through the ranks of membership to become Commodore in 2003. She was very proud of that achievement.

In her retirement, Pam volunteered  with the Citizens Auxiliary Patrol, helping the Anacortes Police Department keep the Community she loved, safe and secure.

Her most notable characteristic was her infectious laughter that always made other people laugh with her.

Pam was predeceased by her parents; brothers: Steve and Tim.  She is survived by her sons: Corey and Colin; siblings: Victor and Kandi and sister-in-law: Roberta (Steve's widow).
