Patricia Ann Campbell, 85, of Anacortes, was called home to God on January 25, 2026. Born on June 6, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of Charles and Mary Ann Konieczny. Pat grew up with a strong sense of faith, family, and purpose—qualities that shaped her entire life. When she was aged 12, the Koniecznys' moved to Cambridge, Ohio. Pat graduated from Saint Benedict High School in Cambridge and went on to earn her master's degree in education from Ohio University in Athens, OH. From an early age, Pat had a passion for learning and a deep commitment to helping others grow, making teaching a natural calling.

Pat began her teaching career in Cleveland, Ohio, where she met the love of her life, William A. Brown, Jr. The two were joined in Holy Matrimony on November 20, 1962. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Anacortes, Washington, where Pat continued her work as an educator. Their marriage was filled with joy, partnership, and shared faith until William's passing on June 14, 1990.

In 2000s, Pat's life was blessed with love once again when she met David H. Campbell. They were married on April 12, 2002. Dave's adult children—Derek and Carol—and their families welcomed Pat warmly, giving her a new family to cherish. Pat and Dave shared five wonderful years together until his passing on June 14, 2007.

Throughout every season of her life, Pat relied on her Catholic faith as her anchor. A devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Anacortes, she served her parish with unwavering dedication. Her ministries included: Weekend Lector, Lay Minister of the Eucharist to the Homebound, Money Counter, member of the Belles of St. Mary, Rummage Sale volunteer—organizing sewing and craft donations and serving as cashier, Funeral Luncheon Committee volunteer—famous for her broccoli salad and her willingness to help wherever needed, Weekly Adorer of the Eucharist, member of the 7 Sisters Apostolate and of the Flame of Love Cenacle.

Pat's love for her dog, Parker, was well known. The two were inseparable companions throughout most of her widowhood. Parker's enthusiastic greetings became a familiar sight to parishioners and friends, reflecting the warmth and affection Pat herself shared so freely.

Pat was also part of a cherished group of parishioners who gathered for dinner after the Saturday 5 PM Mass. She often invited priests and visitors to join, extending hospitality with her characteristic generosity. She delighted in hosting and once held a memorable Frier's Feast dinner at her home—a fundraiser for the Western Dominican Order of Preachers, a highlight of culinary delight for all who attended.

A gifted cook and baker, Pat loved preparing meals and treats for others. Even as her health declined and she could no longer host as she once did, she continued to bring homemade goodies to share at dinners with friends. She was an avid reader and a talented seamstress, creating beautiful pieces with skill and creativity. Pat treasured time spent with family, lifelong friends, and neighbors. Though petite in stature, she was known for her lively spirit, quick wit, and zest for life—qualities that inspired those around her to live with joy and gratitude.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husbands, William and David, stepson, Derek Campbell and her beloved Parker. She is survived by her siblings and their spouses: Charles (Susan) Konieczny and Cheryl (John Minarchek); nieces Julie Forzano and Jill Hellyar; nephews JC Minarchek and Matt (Rebekah) Minarchek; and extended family members Carol Turek and Derek Campbell's families. She will be deeply missed for the love, warmth, and generosity she shared with all.

A Viewing will be held on February 10, from 3–5 PM at Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes. On February 11, 2026, her funeral service will begin with the Rosary at 10:30 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church. A luncheon reception will follow. Pat will be laid to rest at Grand View Cemetery on Thursday, February 12 at 1 pm.
