Patricia "Pat" M Henry, 101, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Pat was born in Weed, CA in 1919, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Green) Peterson. The family moved to Hawaii (Honolulu) when Pat was two years of age. She lived there until she sailed for Washington State and college. This accounts for her lifelong love of swimming, surfing and water skiing.

Pat met her husband, Owen while she was at the University of Washington and they married soon after her graduation.  They settle in Walla Walla, WA where Pat went to work for the Department of Social Services until the arrival of her first son, Michael, soon followed by the second, Gary.

Pat and Owen moved to San Leandro, CA in 1959, so Owen could join his brother in a real estate business.  Pat went to work for Kaiser Hospital in Oakland as head of their medical social service department. She worked there until her retirement.

Pat and Owen moved to Anacortes in the early 1980s to join their sons and grandchildren.  They enjoyed boating, fishing and golfing.

After Owen passed away in 1986, Pat took up travelling which became her new hobby.  She spent many years in cruising around the world.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  We will miss her.

Pat was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Dorothy, beloved husband, Owen and her son Michael.  She is survived by her son, Gary (Katie Tibbetts); grandchildren: Heather Barker, Matt, Molly and Sarah Henry; Greats: Kelsey Barker, Calvin and Nola Aloe, Owen, Oliver and Isabelle Henry.
