Paul Zuhorski, a beloved husband, father, brother, son, and cherished friend, passed away on January 25, 2024, with his family lovingly by his side. He left behind a void that can never be filled.

Paul was born in Farmington, MI on June 27, 1967. He is survived by his loving wife, Marianne, their daughter Francesca and son Luca; his father, Donald Zuhorski; his mother, Leona Marie (Charboneau) Beauchamp; and sisters, Mary Paul and Terry Tabaczynski; Jean Zuhorski, Janet Zuhorski and Jennifer Zuhorski Fallon.

The true measure of Paul's character and his greatest personal achievement was being a father to Francesca and Luca. Paul's quiet strength and gentle guidance shaped their lives, providing them with a solid foundation from which to grow and thrive. His love for them knew no bounds, and his unwavering support was a constant source of comfort and inspiration. He was their rock, confidante, ally, protector and their biggest cheerleader. Paul was the epitome of a loving family man whose quiet demeanor spoke volumes about his deep devotion to those he held dear.

Paul's love story began when he met and fell instantly and deeply in love with Marianne. With Marianne's fierce and deeply felt love in his heart, Paul opened himself to many new and exciting dreams, experiences, and friendships. To share their love for each other and for Italy, they married in their beloved Assisi, Italy, in May of 2000. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and countless precious memories. Marianne was not only his wife but also his partner in every sense of the word, sharing in both the joys and challenges this life presented. From the beginning, they were committed to "Vivi la tua vita al meglio!" (living a beautiful life), their ideology evolved to "Perchê no" (why not?) as they christened their new boat and fulfilled Paul's bucket list in the summer of 2023. Their love was an inspiration to all who knew them and a testament to the power of a strong and enduring bond.

Paul received a degree in computational mathematics from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in management of information systems from USC. Paul served his country as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and served as a platoon leader in Iraq during Operation Desert Storm, where he earned a Bronze Star and Combat Action Ribbon. Upon completion of his service, Paul was an innovator, leader and entrepreneur in the tech world for almost thirty years as a business executive and product manager at AWS, Legato Systems, Xyratex International Inc., Quantum/ADIC, Western Digital and cofounder of Invio and Lightflash Technologies Inc.

Paul found happiness in many of the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for nature, often finding peace in the great outdoors. Whether it was skiing with his family or a quiet moment cruising on the lake, he found beauty in the world around him. Paul's appreciation for the little things in life served as a reminder to us all to slow down and savor the precious moments that often pass us by.

Paul Zuhorski's departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will forever be etched in our minds, a reminder of the profound impact one person can have on the lives of others. May we honor his legacy by cherishing our loved ones, embracing the beauty of nature, and living each day with the same love, compassion, and integrity that defined Paul's life.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held at St Joseph's Church, 732 18th Ave E Seattle, WA 98112, on February 29, 2024, at 11 AM. A luncheon will follow where family and friends gather to share stories and memories and honor the life of a remarkable man whose love knew no bounds.
