Rickey Charles Beeman, was born in Prosser, Washington, sixth of seven children to Raymond and Patricia Beeman (Boast) on August 29th, 1955.  Rick, as he was known to most, was born 13 minutes before his twin sister, Peggy–and he never let her forget it! Rick grew up in Mabton, Washington where he graduated from Mabton High School class of 1973. Rick wrestled, played  football, and competed in track. His high wrestling achievements earned him a scholarship to   Yakima Valley College where he studied a short while until he moved to Skagit Valley, Washington where he resided until 1999. Rick was mechanically inclined and worked in various auto repair jobs before moving into construction, and eventually owning his own roofing business in Mount Vernon, Washington. In 1987 Rick began a new career at Intalco (an aluminum plant, now called Alcoa) in Ferndale, Washington until he retired in 2010. Rick started his second career in truck driving, for which he relocated to Williston, ND; Reno, NV; and eventually back to Washington State.

Rick met Mickey in Ferndale, WA in 2010… Mickey tells of their love story: "When I met Rick, I knew he was "The One". His silly smile, infectious laugh, and incredibly good looks were just too much to ignore. My curiosity got the best of me, and I set out to see what was in his heart. I quickly realized that this was the man that I had waited for my entire life! I couldn't believe that God had brought me this incredible man. The adventure began in Washington, took us to North Dakota, then on to Reno, and then back to Washington. The love that we had for each other was amazing. I couldn't believe how honest he was, how hard he worked, and what an incredible love that he had for his family. Rick was so amazing. How did I get so lucky?  The amazement always continued; he could do anything, he could fix anything, he could talk to anyone! He was so comfortable, and so full of love and joy. Rick offered a level of optimism that was honest and heartfelt; it spilled over into everything he did. He saw the magic in all things. His warm demeanor was infectious, and his laughter was a comfort to the ear. His "Find a Way or Make a Way" attitude applied to everything. Rick touched everyone's lives he met, and made it a point to make all those he encountered feel so special and important. He showed up when it mattered, and he always had your back. Whether it was a phone call, a hug, or if you just needed him to sit beside you, he was always there. His daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchild were his focus. His goal was to always take care of them and be with them. Rick will be truly missed by all whom he left behind. Our hearts are completely broken by this unexpected loss. He was, and is, one of a kind. He was my person. We are all truly blessed to be loved by him."

Rick was the best Dad and Papa–he sacrificed greatly to be present and involved in his kids' and grandkids' lives. He lived for supporting and cheering them on, and was so incredibly loved by each one of them. Rick's unconditional love for his family was a beautiful reflection of Jesus' love – a   Savior whom he entrusted his life to and lived his life by.

Preceded in death by his parents, his sister Nancy VanWyk, his brother Wayne Beeman, his daughter Dawn Marie Beeman and two precious grandchildren Brianna Faith Dowrey and Nicolas Alexander Dowrey. He is s urvived by his adoring wife, Michelle "Mickey" Beeman, his three loving daughters Rheanon Adams, Stefanie Dowrey and Rikki Powell, nineteen beloved grandchildren and one great grandchild; his siblings: Gary Beeman, Julia Peeler, Peggy Headrick and Roseanne Wilhelm.
