Sandy Barcott, born in Tacoma, Washington on August 17, 1946, passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband and children.

She was married to Larry Barcott for 5 years and her greatest pride and joy was raising her five children: John, Matt, Missy (Rob Sullivan), Kathleen (Drew Pangelinan) and Amanda Arnold in Anacortes. Sandy spent much of her working life in LaConner, where she built meaningful connections and established herself in the community.

Sandy found immense happiness in her role as a wife, mother and grandmother.  She devoted much of her time to her children and later her grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply: Justin Hansen, Tyson Roose, Chance Hansen, Ava Arnold, Jack Sullivan, Macy Arnold, Paker Pangelinan, Grayson Arnold, Allie Pangelinan and Mylee Hansen; great grandchildren: Jaelyn, Amelia and Emmett Hansen.

Sandy's warmth, humor and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always.  She had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around her, and her legacy lives on through the lives of those who were fortunate to know her.

In accordance with Sandy's wishes, there will be no funeral service.  Here family invites those who knew and loved her to honor her memory in their own way, whether through a quiet moment of reflection or by spending time with loved ones.
