Scott Alan Fultz lived life until the age of 79. He was born on January 7, 1946, in Longview, WA, and passed on September 21, 2025, in Anacortes, WA. He had wonderful parents, Donald H. and Billie M. Fultz and one younger brother, Terry Fultz. Scott was active in his community at a young age. He danced in the Jr. Folklanders group, sang in choir, swam for R.A. Long High School, was a paperboy, and a caddy for his parents that were avid golf lovers.

Scott started working at the Tollycraft boat building plant in Kelso, WA at the age of 15 and forged a friendship with the owner R.M. "Tolly" Tollefson. He knew and respected the people in the plant that helped birth many of the Tolly's still on the water today. At the age of 19, he was drafted and found himself in the middle of the Vietnam War. However, through his knowledge of running boats along with navigation experience, Scott ran and taught others how to run a PBR.

Once Scott returned from the war, he became a salesman for Tollycraft and met and married Bernadette Joynes. They welcomed a daughter, Marina, and son, Scott. Scott eventually stepped away from the Tollycraft plant to start a new adventure. Scott and Bernie became restaurant owners of "The Pantry" in Longview, WA. He worked tirelessly, spending hours working with and for people and loved it. Family time was spent on the Toutle River and on a 34' Tolly in the Columbia River in Kalama, WA. Then Mt. St. Helen's blew. The business faded and so did a marriage. After a while, he met Elaine. They married and Scott became dad to her sons Aaron and Nathan. Over the years, Scott kept close to people. He served his church, supported his sons at their sporting events, worked and met countless people up and down the I5 corridor as a marine salesman. Scott also cared for multiple family members in their last days. Years later, a call came to see if he would be willing to care for Mr. Tollefson in Port Ludlow, WA. Scott loved Tolly like a dad and it was decided that he would care for him until the end. Due to unrelated circumstances, the second marriage dissolved and Scott found himself alone.

It was then that friends Mary LaFleur and Martin Snyder reached out to him and lifted him up. Scott moved to Anacortes, WA and found many friends that became his extended family. There was a common ground and love for the water and for Tollycraft. We as family are forever grateful to the countless friends with generous hearts, amazing food, excellent company, and conversation that extended love towards our dad. Scott will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Scott is survived by his brother Terry, daughter Marina and son-in-law Tony, son Scott and daughter-in-law Tori, sons Aaron and Nathan, grandchildren Saige (Ro), Zane (Sierra), Cyrus, Hayden, Evan, Richard, Kiara, Gracie, and most recently a great granddaughter Holland.

Scott's celebration of life will be held on November 8, 2025, at the Anacortes Elks Lodge at 1009 7th St. In Anacortes, WA from 2-6 pm with family and friends speaking around 3pm. All are welcome.
