Sharon L Klinger, long time resident of Anacortes, Washington died on April 8, 2025. Sharon was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 1, 1942, to Charles and Verian (From) Blomberg.

She worked at General Chemical in Anacortes for several years where she became acquainted with many good friends. She helped with potlucks and the yearly Christmas parties at the Summit Park Volunteer Fire Department in Skagit County where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and showing off her "grandbabies". She spent years of summers in Haines, Alaska and loved to help others, whether it was processing moose meat, cleaning salmon, working at the hamburger feeds, helping with potlucks or garage sales, or just volunteering to help friends and neighbors with whatever they needed.

Sharon was involved with church organizations in Anacortes and Haines, participated in pool aerobics, assisted with senior center activities, loved to bake and cook, have friends over to play cards, and always tried to stay active, traveling to Minnesota to see family and friends and enjoying a cruise ship vacation with her Minnesota family. She loved to go garage sale-ing and always came home with some new treasure that she couldn't live without and couldn't wait to show everyone. She had many friends and family in Minnesota, Washington, and Alaska that made her life complete.

Sharon is survived by eight grandchildren and two nieces. An informal celebration of life gathering will be held at Fernhill Cemetery in Anacortes, on July 14, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
