The Sun has set,
The Day has passed …
But the Memory
Of Our Loved Ones Lives On
In the Hearts of so many.

Sybil Dene Graham, 92, formerly of Anacortes, Rigby, Id, CA and AZ, passed peacefully at her residence in Stanwood, WA surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on July 15, 1929, the daughter of Orlando and Clara (Goulding) Merrill in Rigby, Idaho.  Sybil graduated from Idaho Falls High School.  She married the love of her life, Marvin L. Graham in Idaho where three children were born to them.

The Grahams moved to California in 1951 and were blessed with four more children while they were there.  In 1984, Marvin retired and both he and Sybil decided on Arizona to live out the retirement.  In 1996 Marvin preceded Sybil in death.

Sybil careered in the Food Service Industry for 18 years after obtaining her certification from Pasadena City College.  When Marvin and she moved to Arizona, she was not ready to retire and went on to work for Mervyns for another 10 years.  After Marvin's passing, she visited a friend in  Washington and fell in love with the city of Anacortes, where she took up residence.  When her health was failing her, she moved in with her daughter in Stanwood.

Sybil is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three of her seven children: Steven, Nancy and Nicki.  She is survived by her four other children: Moe (Helen), Thom (Rita), Eddie and Suzy (John); 17 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren.  Family always came first in Sybil's life.
