(Tom) Thomas R. Deach Jr., 74, of Guemes Island, WA passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife and children on Thursday July 21, 2022.

Tom is survived by his wife of 50 years Carol Deach, his children Marnie and Tom, five grandchildren Trenton, Landon, Caden, Cameron and Lucy, son in law Dave, his mother Betty, sister JoAnn and brother John.

Tom was predeceased in death by his beloved uncle Wilbur "Bill" Deach and his father Thomas R. Deach Sr.

Tom was born on September 26, 1947, in Renton Washington to Thomas and Betty Deach. Tom grew up in Bothell Washington and graduated college from Central Washington University.  Tom then moved on to build a family, several homes, many friends and countless memories in Sultan, Stanwood and Camano Island WA, as well as Grangeville Idaho before moving to Guemes Island in 2010.

Tom was a selfless, thoughtful, and giving man, touching countless lives during his 74 trips around the sun. A loving husband, father, and grandfather; his tireless work ethic and unwavering integrity, for which he modeled throughout his life, are the cornerstones to his legacy. Tom was also a master builder and master gardener with a brilliant mind and diplomatic approach to solving "people" problems. Tom shared those talents with all who needed them giving every ounce of energy to his family, community, and friends right up until his final breaths.

Tom Deach of Guemes Island Washington will be dearly missed.
