Virginia Anne Cloer Jones, went home to Jesus, on July 24, 2025.  She was born on December 9, 1936 at a little homestead in Swede  Heaven, near Darrington, WA.  Her parents, John and Nina Cloer, were pleased to add her to two older sisters, Wilhelmina and Johnny Ruth.  The girls enjoyed many days on the small farm in Swede Heaven, each graduating from Darrington High School.

After Anne had graduated in 1955, she soon met and married Ramon Jones. Ray and Anne moved to Mountlake Terrace at which time they welcomed a son, Steven. Two years later came Virginia "Ginger" Rae, their daughter. A few years later, Anne received her Associate degree in Nursing and became an RN.

Anne and Ray were able to spend many quality years together, raising their children, traveling and building a successful business together. In their later years they were able to build a beautiful home in Anacortes – facing the sound. Many days were spent watching boats come and go.

After Ray's passing in 2012, Anne met up with Toby Atterbury, an old school mate. They married and spent 12 years together.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ruth, husbands, Ray and Toby, and daughter Ginger.  She is survived by her sister Billie; son Steven; niece Lorraine; grandchildren: Lincoln, Elise and Douglas; five great grand-children; and Toby's daughters – Niki and Toni.

A Memorial Service for Anne will be held at Christ the King Church in Anacortes, WA on August 9, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Anne was laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Floral Hills, in Lynnwood.
