Sedro Wooley
Randall (Randy) Lee Kiesser, 72, passed away at his home in Sedro Woolley on Friday, September 3, 2021 after struggling for several years with declining health.
Randy was born to Janice and William Kiesser on April 27, 1949 in Anacortes where he attended school and grew up with his two younger brothers on March's Point. Randy enjoyed the outdoors, and would often spend time fishing, crabbing, duck and goose hunting, as well as hunting deer and bear in Skagit County. He worked many years at Anacortes Veneer and was also an on-call EMT/ambulance driver during that time. After the mill closed, he attended college and studied fisheries management. Later, he worked to help control noxious weeds for Skagit County. He also worked for a time at Swinomish Casino in the food service area, and later in pest control.
Randy is survived by his longtime companion and special friend, Kathleen Lathom; sons Adrian Kiesser of Clarkston, WA, Lee Kiesser of Lewiston, ID; daughter Kally Reno (Brett) of Lewiston, ID; grandson Nick Reno of Boise, ID; granddaughter Alyssa Cardarelle (Vince) of Colgate, WI; two great-grandsons, Isaiah and Joel Cardarelle of WI; brothers Rick (Judy) Kiesser and Ron (Rachelle) Kiesser; nephews Corey Kiesser and Aaron Kiesser; nieces Traci Kiesser and Sarah Maas, and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Janice Kiesser, his grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At his request no services will be held. Randy's wishes were for his ashes to be spread at a place that he loved, March's Point.
