Bryan was born Sept 2, 1952, in Portland OR. He spent his life in or near Anacortes WA & died Jan 21, 2022, with his family by his side.

Bryan grew up on the family's chicken farm near AHS, earning him the nickname "Chicken". He embraced it with good humor, a collection of feathered friends & a tattoo. A talented mechanic, Bryan owned & operated JUST IMPORT SERVICE for many years. He was quick-witted, fun-loving & stubborn, a collector of clocks & many gadgets which he delighted in sharing with his many friends & family. Some of his happiest times were spent boating in the San Juan's & riding motorcycles.

Despite suffering a spinal cord injury in 2014, as well as other health issues, he remained his usual witty self, up until his passing.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marguerite Christensen & William Christensen. He is survived by his children, Sundee (Shaun) Johnson, Shannon (Justice) Christensen-Hyland, Leif & Lars, sister Dena (Gordon) Christensen-Brewster, brother Derick (Barb), 2 half brothers & 5 grandchildren.

Sadly, Bryan's life was negatively impacted by alcohol/substance abuse. His family strongly encourages anyone struggling with similar issues to reach out for help. It can save a life.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Feb 12 at 2pm at the Rockfish Grill (4th & Commercial) in Anacortes, in the tented outdoor area.
