It is with great sorrow, the family of Deb Williams announces her peaceful passing on June 14, 2022, in her home at the Village at the Harbor.  A resident of Friday Harbor since 2018, she has also resided in Sidney, Australia; Macomb, MI; Delaware, OH; and Stuart, FL.

Debbie, born October 11, 1942 in Clarksville, Arkansas was the daughter of Mary Emojean Flynn Bowman and Garland Bowman of Flint, Michigan.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she is now joined with her only son, Timothy G. Hoke, who departed on February 3, 2021. She is survived by her daughter-in-law of 28 years, Pamela S Hoke; grandchildren: Alexander J. and Angela J. Hoke; her sister, Melba Bauer, with Kimberly, Cindy, Mark, Heidi Bauer, and brother Gary Bowman, with Samantha Bozarth, Leah Quesinberry, Amanda Kindoll and Ryan Bowman, along with niece Kristen Hoke Martin.

Deb was a marketing professional for most of her career, and went on many adventures, including living in Sydney, Australia. She was an exceptional golfer and a longtime volunteer for the Columbus Zoo.  She was also a forever dog mother, now happily reunited with her departed four-legged companions, Hogan, Shine, and Shiloh.

She will be greatly missed.  Currently, there will be a virtual candlelight ceremony held on Facebook during her cremation transition at Evans Funeral Chapel, and a Celebration of Life planned at Jackson's Beach, Friday Harbor in late August.  More details will be available through Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes, WA.
