Delores Fann passed away peacefully on August 5, 2022 in her home in Anacortes. She was born on August 26, 1938.  Delores lived on Guemes Island, until she was 3, then moved to Anacortes. She was a graduate of AHS.

She married Virl Fann in 1958 and they travelled for the Milwaukee Railroad for eight years. They were married for 50 years.

They came back to Anacortes in 1962 where Virl worked for the plywood mill. Delores worked as a housekeeper, sold Avon and delivered the Skagit Valley Herald to help support her family when the plywood mill closed.

She was an active member of several clubs and organizations including TOPS, where she won an award for losing the most weight and served as an officer for one and a half years. The Salvation Army, Home League, ARP, Independent Order of Foresters, Sons of Norway, and the Summit Park Grange.  Delores and Virl loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time camping, fishing, and hunting.

Virl passed away December 12, 2008 of Lou Gehrig's disease, Delores mourned her husband greatly. Delores enjoyed spending time with her siblings, her and her sister Norma could be seen all over town on their scooters and were regular attendees at the movie theater.

Delores is survived by her sons Wesley Fann and his wife Paula, Kenneth Fann SR and his wife Teri, grandchildren William, Kenneth JR, Kathy, and Forrester, Great grandchildren Avery, Mallory, Riley, Alan, and Freya. Her brother Wayne Melvin and his wife Marivonne and many nephews and nieces. She was proceeded in death by her husband Virl Fann, brother gene Melvin and sister Norma French.
