Mark Kuchin passed suddenly from complications arising with COPD and congestive heart failure.  He was born and lived his whole life in Anacortes.  He loved to fish for trout in the local lakes, deck hand for his dad during the crab and prawn seasons.  Mark was well loved in his community, often volunteering at food banks, and helping others as he could.  He was artistically inclined and enjoyed creating original yard art.  When his daughter was little, he entertained her by creating fun stories, some of the main characters being 'cabot' (a cross between a cat and a rabbit) and 'ducky chicken'.

Our beloved Mark was preceded in death by his son Adrian Allen and his dad, Stephen L. Kuchin . He is survived by his mother, Nancy Shank of Sequim, his daughter, Sarah N Curran, older brother Steven Charles Kuchin, Uncle Fabian Kuchin of Ellensburg, cousin Matt Kuchin and Aunt Rita Gaddis of Montana. He will be missed by all who knew him.
