The world unexpectedly lost a great soul on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the age of 28. Riley Beard was a one-of-a-kind person. His personality was larger than life, and he had a smile that lit up the room. You could hear his contagious laugh a mile away. He would always greet you with a big ol' bear hug and would remind his family and friends how much he loved them every time, without fail.

On May 11,1994 Greg Beard and Sami Bynum welcomed Riley into the world. Riley spent his life in Anacortes. He loved to spend his time hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and friends, cooking at any restaurant he worked at, as well as being outdoors. Family was so important to Riley. He held his two brothers Huckleberry Kidd and Raef Beard close to his heart. Riley was generous, hardworking and incredibly funny. He was also a devoted Son, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and Friend.

Riley is survived by his dad, Greg Beard, his bonus mom Jenn Hawley, his two brothers Huckleberry Kidd and Raef Beard, as well as his grandparents: Robbi Moody, Dan Beard, Frank & Nancy Liekhus, Sam & Diane Bynum, and Lois Cassidy. Riley had a lot of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly and will miss him every day. Riley is proceeded in death by his Mother Sami Bynum as well as his infant son Atreyu Beard.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor from 2-6 p.m. April 30, 2023 at Seafarers Memorial Park where friends and family can share their fondest memories of Riley. Let's give him a send-off that's as bright as his spirit!
