Always in our hearts.  Violet May Sorenson, 89 and longtime resident of Oak Harbor, WA, passed away on December 15, 2022 at Island Hospital in Anacortes. She was born on June 5, 1933, in Douglas, Wyoming, the daughter of Doyle & Lottie (Williams) Morgan. Violet grew up in Douglas, married the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Raymond H. Sorenson in 1952.  Thereafter the Sorensons moved to Kent, Washington.  Ray and Violet had three sons.  She careered in the Telecommunications Industry as a Switchboard Operator.  Violet was widowed in 2001.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son: Steven and her husband, Raymond of 49 years.  Violet is survived by her sons: Randy, Terry; her daughter-in-law, Diann; grandchildren: Jennifer, Stevie Kimberly and great grandchild, Sophie.
