Lonita passed away at the age of 92 on December 10th; after succumbing to the complications of Alzheimer's Disease.

Born in Spokane, Washington, on October 13, 1931, she was the daughter of Zelda and Carl Seimer. It was in Spokane that she met her future husband, Charles Thomas Dalziel (Tom), at the age of 15. They would go on to marry 5 years later and start what would be a 72-year marriage. They enjoyed living in several locations around the country, including Washington, Oregon, Michigan, and California, finally ending in Anacortes, WA.  She and Tom were dedicated parents who successfully raised two children, encouraging and supporting the development of each of their talents in music and figure skating.

Loni loved music and singing.  While she was a teenager, she had the honor of singing with The Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Any music with a beat made her happy, and she would start her foot tapping. She always wanted to be a drummer and encouraged her son, who also had the talent, to take up the instrument.  Her favorite group, later in life, was the Bee Gees.

She loved people and loved to make people laugh. This attribute helped her to become a highly successful saleswoman for Avon and later on for Office Mart. Through her Avon work, she was dedicated to helping support her son's college education.

Loni and Tom were avid boaters and toured throughout the Lake Michigan, Southern California, and Puget Sound waters for 40 years.  Later they took up caravanning in their RV throughout the US and Canada.  She proudly wore 40 pins on a vest, marking the locations they visited in their travels.

Lonita is survived by her husband Tom, son Christopher, daughter-in-law Jennifer, daughter Marcia, grandchildren Jason, Stephen, Megan, Amy, and spouses; as well as great grandchildren Kaitlynn, Jaela, and Charley.
