A Funeral service will be held at 3:00PM PST Monday, January 11, 2021 @ Evans Funeral Chapel, which can be viewed virtually the following link to our facebook page: Evans-Chapel-Facebook . The live stream link will not be available to view until 5-10 minutes before the service commences. Anna will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI on Friday, January 15, 2021.

Anna Marie Brooks, 100, of Anacortes, WA passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021 with her son and daughter-in-law at her side.   She was born on January 29, 1920, in Exeter, PA; the daughter of Carmen and Josephine (Pizano) Chiampi.

After graduating from West Pittston High School, Anna worked in New York City as a bookkeeper; then married and lived as a mother and homemaker in Southgate, MI.  She loved being a mother to her two boys and she always put her family first.  After raising her sons, she studied and obtained her real estate license and enjoyed working with homebuyers.  She was most happy being able to spend time with her grand and great grandchildren.  She was always up for a good joke and said the key to her long life was because she always made it a point to have fun and encouraged others to do the same.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gale; her son Bill and brothers: Michael, Joseph and Dominick.  She is survived by her son Bob (Tracy) of Anacortes; grandchildren: Adam (Jeannine) of MI, Shelley (John Loera) of TX and Tyler (Ashley) of MI; great grandchildren: Bryanna, Sidney, Emilia, Miles and Elliott; nieces: Josephine (Paul Hatrak) of PA, MaryAnn (John Fueher) of NJ and Lucille (George Morgan) of PA.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Chandler's Square and the Hospice of the Northwest, who provided so much care, support and compassion during her last months.

Funeral services will be held virtually @ Evans Funeral Chapel through Evans-Chapel-Facebook .  Anna will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI on Friday, January 15, 2021.
