It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Boyce G Dick.

Boyce, 74, was born on November 24, 1949, to Boyce E and Beatrice M Dick.  On January 14, 2024, he departed this world to be reunited with his parents and his brother Thomas E Dick.

Boyce is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law Antoinette and Will Jackson, along with his beloved sidekick Bradley P. and seven treasured cousins. Throughout his life, Boyce had a strong bond with his family and friends, and his passing will be deeply felt.

At a young age, he began working with his father at Dick's Engine and Transmission in Lakewood, Co. He became proficient on the machinery required to rebuild engines and transmissions and developed a passion for mechanics.

Boyce attended Mullen High School in Colorado, where he enjoyed being a part of the football team and got his nick name Moby Dick. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Marines, where he served in Vietnam.

After an honorable discharge, Boyce pursued his interest in machinery and became a skilled machinist. He worked on fishing vessels in Dutch Harbor, Alaska before ultimately relocating to Anacortes. It was here he found his true calling and embarked on a journey of artistic exploration and computer studies. He became a graphic artist and a PC build technician, showcasing his talent and passion in these fields.

Boyce's presence in Anacortes was cherished by his friends, who knew him as a sweet and kind-hearted man. He genuinely appreciated the friendships he formed over the years and loved being a part of the community.

Rest in Peace, dear brother Boyce. Your departure leaves a void in our hearts, and you will be deeply missed. May your soul find eternal peace as you join your loved ones who have gone before you.
