It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. Webb of Anacortes, a wonderful human being, generous, selfless and a much-loved friend and brother.  The void he is leaving cannot be measured in words.

Charles passed away from cancer which he fought with tremendous bravery for more than a year, never giving up hope that he would be able to beat it.  Sadly, that was not the case, he lost his battle with cancer on October 9, 2025, at home, surrounded by people who loved him.  Charles loved sailing.  His sailboat and his little dog "Loge" were two of the great joys in his life as was reading.

Charles had a tremendous thirst for knowledge.  If not sailing, you could find him engrossed in one of his many books.  He especially enjoyed reading about history.

Charles was a long-time member of the Anacortes Yacht Club where he served as treasurer for many years.  He was a storyteller and enjoyed entertaining friends with colorful tales of his many adventures in Alaska where he lived and worked for many years, hunting, fishing and scuba diving in his spare time.

Charles is survived by his partner, Renate, his sister, Kris, to whom he was especially close and his brothers David, Miles and their families.  Rest in peace, Charles.  Thanks for the memories.  We miss you.
