Betty Gale Greenberg, 72, of Eastsound, WA, passed away on February 26, 2024. Born on November 19, 1951, in Columbus, GA, she was the beloved daughter of Sam and Ruth Greenberg.

Betty, who went by her middle name, Gale, grew up in Columbus, GA, attending Columbus High School before graduating from Georgia State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.

She had a passion for nature and was known for her talent in landscape gardening. Her love for gardening was evident in the beautiful gardens she tended to throughout her life.

Gale was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brothers, Arthur and Dward. She never married but was surrounded by her loving family and friends who will miss her dearly.

In her memory, Gale's family asks that donations be made to a local gardening organization or charity of your choice. She will be forever remembered for her kindness, love of nature, and the beauty she brought to the world through her gardens. May she rest in peace.
